It Is rare to see value and quality In the same sentence, however, Sportsman has managed this with their products. Sportsman boats have great fit and finished mostly found on more expensive boats. Fiberglass and upholstery work Is top notch, add their Integration of the electronics system and these boats are the perfect package coming out of the factory. We've had our 282 for a year and It's been about fun and family time... so for an encore we ordered a 302!!

My Sportsman 282TE Is a fishing machine. The boat Is loaded with nice to have Items. The helm Is set up perfectly, deck space and room for multiple fishermen Is excellent. The oversized T-top provides good coverage on hot days, and the twin 300 Yamahas are more than enough power to get the boat out of the hole quickly. The finishes on the boat are beautiful. Sportsman truly cares about how their boats look and perform when they go out the door.

I've run the boat almost the entire length of the Chesapeake bay from Kent Island to Cape Charles. Just took delivery on my new Sportsman Open 32 In June 2021. Absolutely wonderful vessel. It has the upper helm station which Is very nice for sight fishing In the Chesapeake Bay. The Garmin electronics are fabulous and still learning how to utilize all the functions. The boat has most every option available except for the sea keeper. This Is my second Sportsman!
