We moved out of our 1975 model Ranger bass boat to the center console Sportsman 227. I have two sons over 6 feet tall, and we did not fit in the old boat. This boat permits us to use the lakes in North Texas any day despite the high winds that are typical. We have plenty of room to move around and land multiple fish at time. We use the boat secondarily to water ski and tube. It has met all my needs. We still clean it every trip and it looks like new after a year of ownership.

I absolutely love my Platinum edition bay boat. Why? Stable dry ride - great finish and fixtures - awesome T top - white, blue and red LEDs plus underwater lights - sleek looks - super nice upholstery - lots of storage and big live wells. I could go on. A superior boat and a good price point.

This boat is a fisherman's dream. The boat has all of the amenities that one would need for fishing and the electronics are awesome. Plenty of storage and the rod lockers are so convenient. Top grade upholstery that is easy to maintain. The boat performs well on the water with my 250 Yamaha engine. I highly recommend the Sportsman 227 for anyone who is looking for a boat that can be used for Bass fishing, Stripper fishing and any other freshwater fishing.

I’ve been looking at the Sportsman 227 Masters for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. So far I feel I made the right choice! The changes they made to the 2018 model was exactly my wish list of upgrades so when I seen it I knew it was the one. I’ve only had this boat a little over a month but I can tell you with the way it handles I feel like I’ve owned this boat for years because of the comfort and ease of operation. If your thinking about buying a sportsman no need to hesitate, just do it!

I have been so impressed with my new 2018 Sportsman Masters 227. The boat is extremely functional, has plenty of storage space and the new design on the locker lids makes it so easy to access fishing rods. The helm seat is very comfortable and well designed with plenty of leg room. My Yamaha 250 engine has the power to handle all of the situations that I have been challenged with so far and runs so efficiently. Love the electronics and the side scan feature. This boat is awesome!

After reviewing many many other brands of bay boats the sportsman 227 first caught our eye with its simple yet unique layout. We also found that the layout actually seemed to give us much more room on deck than most of the 24' boats that we reviewed, this is a big deal considering that we are a family of 6. After receipt of our boat we found it to be even more capable than promised. We typically fish bays and backwater but have had no trouble with rough seas as well. Great job Sportsman!

I had a Sportsman 247 built in the Spring of 2017. I took delivery of it in May of 2017. I love the way the boat looks, feels and handles. I am very satisfied with it. I looked at several other big name manufactures an the big reason I went with Sportsman was because of the dry ride and ease of handling under power. I have fell in love with the bench seat in the rear and the accessibility to all the pumps, hoses and equipment under the rear deck. I think they did a great job with wiring too.

I fell in love all over again a few weeks ago when I picked up my Sportsman 247 Platinum edition... What an incredible boat, and coupled with the 300 HP Yamaha, holy smokes, what could there possibly be to complain about. The boat is perfect in every way, handles the water great, nice dry ride, fishes very well, and perfect for day trips to the beach with the family. I ordered 2 power poles and a trolling motor and a complete set of front cushions with back rests also.

After retirement, my wife and I have more time to travel even though we live in a land locked state all our travels involve the ocean or the gulf of mexico and we have been interested in buying a combination cruising and fishing vessel I have researched makes models and styles of boats very thoroughly for about three and one-half years in that time we developed a sense of what we wanted in the boat that we would eventually purchase. As soon as I saw the sportsman open 212 I was hooked, it was love at first sight!

I was interested in getting a boat that I could use for fun with my wife and friends and also do some serious fishing. I believe this boat is the answer to my needs. Definitely needed a head for emergencies and the boat seats 8 comfortably. We upgraded the motor to 200 hp. In the short time we have had it we have been thrilled. First fishing on this Friday and expecting good things.

When retiring I was looking for a new boat for offshore purposes. I needed a boat that was small enough to trailer easily but yet large enough to feel safe in big water. I stopped at boat shows, looked on the internet, then went to several marinas comparing many brands. We settled on the 232 Open for its style and componets. There was no shopping around for T-Tops, Electronics, etc. Everything was set up in the boat the way I would have it done. I urge others to check Sportsman out before buying

Best riding boat I have ever owned. I have owned over 20+ boats in my life and Sportsman took a lot of time designing this one. The hull rides great and the access to the electronics and bilge is great especially the lighting in the bilge access area makes it nice to do service on it.

I recently purchased the 232 Open and have been extremely happy with it. Living on Lake Erie means that you never know whether you're going out in 1 footers or 4 footers and my passengers are always dry when we get back to the dock. It has all of the amenities of boats priced a lot higher and I feel I couldn't have made a better choice.

Awesome boat! Looks great! Rides great! Trailers great! I couldn't be happier. Plenty on fishing features and family too. What sold me was all the standard features. 9" screen, bow cushions with back rests! Trim tabs, flip up bolsters on the leaning post, rod holders, livewell and hull color??? All standard...WHAT? Amazing! The other brands can't touch that with a 10' pole. Thanks sportsman, I'm a believer.

I explained i was a looky loo and was just researching the different boats. i went all 3 days of the show and kept getting drawn back to the sportsman. Finally Sunday came and i stopped by again...found the 23ft sportsman open. purchased it on the spot

I recently purchased a SPORTSMAN 242 OPEN boat. I have been boating since I was a young man. I'm not so young now. This boat is fantastic. It is perfect for recreation as well as fishing. We love cruising with the family for a gentle evening outing. But I also really enjoy the extra space in the back of the boat that makes fishing easy and comfortable. The electronics on this boat are unlike any I have seen on a boat of this size. The structure of the boat is as solid as you will find.

I can not believe how well this boat handles any conditions i have been in. It eats the 2 and 3 foot chop with a dry soft ride. It is a great all around boat from fishing to family fun. I couldn't ask for anything more

I saw the Sportsman for the first time at the Ft. Myer's Boat Show. I could not believe the value for such a high quality boat. The fittings and finish ranks up with boats costing twice the price. The extend warranty offered by Yamaha really sold me on the boat. I can highly recommend Sportsman and our lovely salesperson.
