Overall, I'm extremely happy with my 252 Open, Its a nice family boat and if I want to take customers out on a fishing trip for entertainment I have no worries that they will have fun and be safe in the open Ocean. My Yamaha motors are economical and very reliable for ocean cruising or deep sea fishing

Boat performs well when heading offshore on the Gulf of Mexico and very stable when deep dropping. The deck is well thought out and easy to access all pumps, electrical, and filters. Great Standard features and excellent choice for upgrades when ordering. My favorite is the company answers me direct since I have issues using local service center. Again this is great boat from a owner who has had every top tier boat from 23-31 ft previously and decided to step out of the “Ad’s Name Game!!!”

If you are looking for a boat to go out for a dinner excursion, a raft up with family and friends or getting to the fishing grounds in comfort and style the Sportsman 282 Open has it all. All of our guest are always comfortable and complimenting of our newest boat. The fit and finish meets the price point with some very nice added features. Our local dealer and Sales rep have been exceptional from the beginning. They made the entire experience exceptional even in a 32 degree day!
