The Masters 227 delivers shallow water performance with the ride quality to handle open water. Built with SportTech® construction and equipped with SportLink® integrated electronics, it’s designed for anglers who want versatility, durability and performance in one platform.

The Masters 227 is built for anglers who want true shallow water capability without giving up ride quality, structure or technology.
At 22 feet 7 inches in length with an 8 foot 6 inch beam, the 227 carries a wide, stable footprint that gives you confidence whether you’re walking the bow casting deck or crossing open water. That width translates directly into usable space and stability, especially when multiple anglers are moving around the boat.
With a 14 inch draft, the boat is built to push into shallow flats and backwater areas without hesitation, while a 71 gallon fuel capacity gives it the range to extend well beyond inshore runs when conditions allow.
What defines the performance of the 227 is the balance in its hull design. A 15 degree deadrise at the transom softens the ride compared to traditional flat-bottom bay boats, allowing you to cross larger bodies of water like bays, sounds and harbors with more confidence. At the same time, it maintains the shallow water performance needed to access the areas this boat is built for.
That performance starts with how the boat is built. Every Masters 227 is constructed using Sportsman’s SportTech® advanced fabrication approach, built with 100 percent composite construction and a fully integrated fiberglass stringer system. With no wood in the build, the structure is stronger, lighter and more consistent over time.
The full fiberglass stringer system creates a rigid foundation that helps absorb impact and distribute energy throughout the hull. The result is a boat that feels solid underfoot and delivers a more controlled ride in both calm and choppy conditions.
This construction also plays a major role in long-term durability. It’s designed to handle the same environments it’s built for, from shallow flats to open water, without the typical wear points found in traditional builds.
At the helm, the Masters 227 integrates the SportLink® electronics system. SportLink® connects your Garmin electronics, digital switching and onboard systems into one interface, giving you full visibility and control without clutter. Instead of separate controls scattered across the dash, everything is organized into a clean, easy-to-use display. Navigation, system monitoring and key functions are all available in one place, allowing you to focus on running the boat and fishing rather than managing multiple systems.
From a fishing standpoint, the layout is built with purpose. Large casting decks forward and aft give you room to move freely, while integrated storage keeps rods, tackle and gear organized and out of the way. Livewells, rod storage and in-deck compartments are positioned to support both inshore and nearshore setups without interrupting how you move around the boat. Everything works together to support a wide range of use.
The Masters 227 is shallow enough to fish tight, protected water, capable enough to handle open runs and efficient enough to make both practical in a single day. It’s a platform designed around versatility, giving you the ability to fish how you want without being limited by where you can go.
The Masters 267 and Masters 267OE have made their debut for model year 2024 and they're packing some fancy new features.
