It is one of the smoothest riding boats I have been on. We have 31 hours on the boat and so far no issues. We have owned the boat for about three months.

Sharp, well-prepared boat with the highest seating capacity in its class. Great for recreational cruises with family and friends. Capable fisherman—deep vee configuration enables tackling inlet and offshore (if not too choppy!). Plenty of storage. I recommmend a second integrated GPS/screen for engine monitoring as there are no separate gauges for temp, fuel, RPM, etc.

My father bought a 231 in 2015. i was sold the day we were cruising 25 to 30mph headwind in a tight 3 foot chop, dry as a bone and able to hold a conversation. We both fell in love with the boat, it packs tons and tons of qualities for fishing yet still a comfortable cruiser for the whole family. In turn, I talked my wife into one, a 231 Heritage, and it will probably be the last boat I will buy ever. Perfect for the Chesapeake, the family loves it and it will get me anywhere I want.

I purchased the Sportsman Heritage 23. The main reason I upgraded to a bigger boat was to hold more people. I have a family of 6 so it was almost impossible to take friends and family out with us on the water. Since we bought the Sportsman, we have had multiple outings where we had 10-12 people on our boat, and I am pleasantly surprised at the boats ability to "get up and go" even carrying the larger loads. I have the Yamaha 200 HP on this boat.

We have been very pleased with our purchase of the 241. We have right at 97 hours and just completed the 100 hr. Service. Both Sportsman and our local ealer have been Top Notch. The boat is comfortable, with enough room to fish. The 241 is a great mix of family and sport boating. The cost enabled us to upgrade the Stereo, EPS, Autopilot, Duel Monitors. A lot of boat for the money.

I moved up from a 20 ft runabout with a 150 Hp outboard I had for many years. The Heritage 251 had all of the features I wanted in a boat including electronics. The boat rides and handles better than I could have imagined. The fuel efficiency with twin 150s is comparable to that of my earlier boat. The electronics are comprehensive yet easy to use. The boat maneuvers well at high speed and in tight quarters. The boat is very comfortable pleasure cruising or fishing.

The fit and finish is great! The boat is very easy to drive and comfortable ride in rough water. The matched Yamaha motor has great performance. We now have a potty for my wife, hooray!! My Sportsman 207 is a perfect boat for the Carolina shores. The layout is well thought out. The functionality of the boat's features are very user friendly. The boat is perfect to fish but is also great for recreational day-rides with family and friends. The boats hull design makes for a smooth and responsive ride. I will continue to buy Sportsmans for the long term.

After owning 9 different boats I have finally found my last one. The Sportsman 207 is the perfect boat for me. The fit and finish is spectacular. The design and layout makes it the perfect 20' bay boat. Everything is in the perfect place and fills the purpose intended with no wasted space on a boat that fits in my garage, which will keep it looking like brand new for many years to come. I bought my 2019 Masters 227 in hopes that it would be able to handle a variety of fishing conditions, while also being able to tow the kids on the inner tube and enjoy an evening of cruising with friends and family. This boat does all that and more. It will fish as shallow as any bay boat and keep you dryer than most in transit even in tough conditions. In my opinion, there is no better blend of fishing performance and family friendly design on the market!

I had been researching this boat for a long time and finally decided to that the Sportsman 227 Masters was the one. It has great accessibility to all the mechanical and control components for any maintenance needs. the recessed rod holders in gunnels and the increased width in the step up to the front deck were the extra added push that I needed to make the decision to purchase the Sportsman 227 masters. All in all it is a great fishing boat with plenty of room for friends and family.
