Purchased my Masters 247 four years ago. I liked the boat so much I recently purchased a new 2020 model. The boat does everything I want it to do. I use it primarily for fishing but it also is a great family boat as well. Before purchasing I did extensive research and product comparisons. Bottom line my new boat has the best overall quality and features of any boat I researched. Also was competitively priced with other boats I considered.

We live and boat on Bogue Sound midway between Swansboro and Morehead City, NC. It isn’t unusual to have it blow up into a 2 ft chop in the late afternoon. Our old skiff would beat us up pretty bad on our way back after a day of fishing with the wet ride taking 30-35 minutes from either of our favorite areas. Our new Sportsman Tournament 234 allows us to get home in 15 smooth, dry minutes. Great ride, nice quality and an easy fishing machine. Exactly what we were looking for in a Bay boat.

We traded in our Sportsman 251, so we were familiar with and enjoyed the Sportsman brand of boat before purchasing the new Sportsman 312 center console. The ride is excellent on the 312, with the boat slicing through good sized waves with ease and no pounding. The difference is dramatic, and well appreciated. The boat is well equipped and the Garmin system is largely intuitive and easy to use. The configuration, design and layout suit our needs well and are quite multi-functional as well.

This boat and manufacturer is one that I researched for over a year before I made a purchase. When the 282TE came out , I knew that was the perfect fit for me. This boat has not failed to deliver. I had had her out in all conditions and she has responded beautifully. She takes a heavy sea well. Fuel economy is very impressive. Electronics have performed as well. I love the auto-pilot and the depth finders have allowed me to find excellent bottom. Twin engines make maneuvering easy.

My wife and I recently purchased a 282TE - and we absolutely love it! We are avid scuba divers and fishing fanatics. We looked at many brands but Sportsman had the layout that we wanted with the coffin box and 360 degree fishability all the way around the boat. I have operated many different boats in my life as a licensed captain but never one of this quality and features available. Sportsman is a quality boat at an affordable price compared to other boat brands.

Coming out of a 32 foot center console, I was looking for a great handling boat with good fit and finish in the 28 foot class. I found it in the 282 Sportsman. The twin 200 Yamaha are fast out of the hole, run upwards of 50MPH and I cruise at better than 3mpg. Wow, that is a huge lift from what I used to spend on fuel heading 30 plus miles offshore on a regular basis. if you are looking for an open fisherman with great features and construction that won't break the bank, take a look at the Sportsman.

This is my second Sportsman. First was the 2013 Masters 207. The ride, construction is second to none. In the Bay or 10 miles out , the boat never disappointed. My second Sportsman is a 227 Platinum. Once again this boat is all first class. From the gel coat to the stainless, nothing but the best. I like the fact that Sportsman standard features include what other manufacturers call options . You can’t go wrong with any Sportsman Boat

I bought my 2019 Masters 227 in hopes that it would be able to handle a variety of fishing conditions, while also being able to tow the kids on the inner tube and enjoy an evening of cruising with friends and family. This boat does all that and more. It will fish as shallow as any bay boat and keep you dryer than most in transit even in tough conditions. In my opinion, there is no better blend of fishing performance and family friendly design on the market!

This is a great boat and a good value. I've had it inshore and 45 miles offshore in some nasty weather conditions. It offers a surprisingly dry ride and handles well. My Sportsman is a Platinum Edition 22'7" with hard T top. The seating is also excellent. While I use it for primarily for fishing it also is a good family boat and tows tubes etc. with ease. If you are looking for a new boat, you'd be foolish not to look at Sportsman before making a final decision.

I purchased my Sportsman Boat for my Dad who lives in Grand Isle, Louisiana for his 80th birthday. I wanted a boat that we could fish out of and take the family out in for leisure rides as well. I did quite a bit of research on bay boats and the Sportsman Boat is the perfect boat for us! The design and functionality is perfect for both fishing and cruising. This was my first new boat and my wife and I did our research for a long time. We went to look at a different brand a dealer had with less than 10 hours so practically new. We lake tested it and did not like it. Our salesman directed us to the Masters 227 and we loved it. The day we lake tested it, the weather was pretty rough but the ride was dry and handles the chop without issue. I was sold. The thought that went into the design, fit and finish is amazing as everything is accessible.

Living on the Treasure coast of Florida I wanted a boat for both the ICW and the ocean.The smooth,dry ride is what’s so impressive. The bow cuts through the chop and sends all water out and down.Wife picked boat for plush interior and amenities. Fishing was first on my mind.From Bass to Snook.
