The Open 232 CC Sportsman is a well designed boat and handles the ocean well. The 250 Yamaha gets the boat up on a plane very quick with 8 adults. The premium package has all the necessary features for fishing and pleasure. The seating area is very comfortable with thick cushions and plenty of storage under each seat. The built in cooler is very large and insulated.

My search for a bay boat came with high recommendations from friends to go with a Sportsman. I wasn’t disappointed. I am very impressed how dry the Platinum 247 is in rough waters. With a shallow draft and dry chimes, I’m able to fish both backwaters and off shore. Very versatile. A large deck, plenty of rod storage and the 300 hp Yamaha has elevated my fishing trips to top level. It’s also family friendly. Thumbs up Sportsman!

Great Boat for fishing and recreation. The Platinum package is a must while adding the trolling motor, jack plate and power pole for your fishing pleasure. The instrument panel is simple and informative. Perfect boat for the waters of Tampa Bay and surrounding areas.
